Paid Fashion Design Internship Opportunity

Trenditions supplies fashion accessories and apparel to the largest retailers in the Western and Farm and Ranch channel.  We license some of the biggest names in our industry including Hooey and Justin Boots and have developed an in-house and fun CatchflyTM apparel brand. We value your unique eye for design.  Our design team is energized and ready to respond to our retail market with fun and exciting clothing and accessories pieces that are sold to more than 1300 retail locations in North America.  As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our awesome design team as they prepare our seasonal product offerings. You will see and learn how we take an idea and bring it to market from beginning of the process until the end.  We would also love your help with line drawing patterns, photoshoots and our social media initiative too!

This internship is paid at $10.00 /hour. 

A typical day:
·       Create spec packs.
·       Measure clothing.
·       Participate in product costing and design meetings.
·       Swatch library maintenance.
·       Design patterned line drawings.
·       Fabric and material selection.
·       Photo editing.

The Chi Chi Boutique is a carefully curated collection of women's clothing and accessories for the fun and fearless trendsetting romantic. Offering must have looks and fashion at affordable prices, I believe in keeping it classy, sassy and always bad assey. The boutique and I can be found doing pop ups and private parties all over the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex and can be found holding permanent residence inside the Painted Tree Marketplace located in Highland Village, TX. Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a 4-Year college (undergrad or graduate)
• Demonstrated interest in the boutique world through prior internship experiences, course selections, or extracurricular activities
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills
• Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative
• Is detail oriented and organized
• Previous sales and customer service experience are a must

Full time summer internship at Abi Ferrin located in Dallas, TX. The company prefer 35-40 hours/week for summer interns(unpaid). The responsibilities is different for design studio on a day to day basis as it goes from production (learn and experience the process of making a garment from beginning to finish) to styling (assisting on marketing photo shoot or pulling styles for a trunk show event) and operations (the process of getting the finished good to vendor, our retail store, or client).
